Plaque!

The Knarr Ormen Korte receives the first of the brass plaques I have had made, and in so doing becomes the first piece to be officially finalized!  This piece will be on display in a group show at Found Gallery on Piedmont starting May 15th.

IT'S ALIIIIIIIVE!!!

Progress!!! Looking a lot less flat, and I finally got to put some reflected light from the lightning on the sails and masts!  I'm off to see a matinée of Captain America!

The RSS Taiji is nearing completion!  I have recently acquired a Masterson Stay-Wet pallette, which keeps acrylic paint wet for days!  That, and the revelation that glazing medium exists, and we are looking at some serious game changers...

 Every once in a while I am blessed with an entirely free day to mess around in the studio and paint (and the motivation to do so)...  Today was one of those days!  The sky is "done"...
